MacNanny™
When our children were young, it seemed that we could recall the day, maybe the hour and minute of each event of their lives. As experienced parents, my wife and I have found that those events have tended to blur as each child has grown older. Parenting becomes more complex and even simple things like going to a movie on Saturday night is a major production. Have you ever tried to find the phone number of a movie theater for the baby sitter as you were rushing out of the door?

MacNanny is the family child care information center that tries to make life easier so parents can enjoy life and have an occasional night to themselves.

MacNanny will maintain
•	that important list of babysitters
•	a record of emergency contacts
•	a record of each child
•	a record of pets
•	a list of your favorite destinations, addresses and phone numbers

Finally, MacNanny will print that important report to put on the refrigerator for the babysitter.

MacNanny is shareware ($15). This version has limited features until you register. You can also order the documentation and a disk for $20.00 which includes the shareware registration.


ReleaseIT
ReleaseIT is a freeware package for those of us on the run. You have probably ordered a software package from MacWarehouse or MacMall for delivery the next morning. At the last minute, you have to leave for a few moments which is exactly when the Federal Express or Airborne agent will try to deliver your package, the one you need NOW. Release will print a very nice release form you can leave on your door for the agent so that they will leave your package without your signature.
